Indiana Rep. Victoria Spartz (R) encountered a vocal and frustrated crowd during a town hall in Muncie, where attendees voiced concerns over federal spending cuts, government downsizing, and job losses under the Trump administration. Around 170 people packed the event, frequently interrupting Spartz with boos and chants of “Do your job!”

Spartz defended the administration’s push for government efficiency, arguing that reducing spending was necessary. However, many attendees criticized cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and education programs. Tensions escalated when a protester attempted to climb a table near Spartz and was removed by security.

Another key issue was U.S. aid to Ukraine, with Spartz, a Ukrainian native, stating that her priority was protecting American interests. Despite facing jeers and interruptions, she insisted she would continue engaging with constituents, saying, “I’m here to listen, even if we disagree.”
