Charter Flights Helping Americans Leave Middle East
The United States government is organizing charter flights and emergency travel assistance to help American citizens leave the Middle East as tensions and military activity continue to escalate across the region.

Officials say Americans should leave the region as soon as it is safe to do so, using either government-assisted flights or any available commercial travel.
Criticism and Challenges
Despite the ongoing evacuation efforts, some lawmakers have criticized the government’s response, arguing that the evacuation process began too slowly and that many Americans initially struggled to find reliable transportation out of the region.
