On February 4, 2025, a mass shooting at Campus Risbergska, an adult education center in Örebro, Sweden, left at least 10 people dead, including the suspected gunman. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson called it the “worst mass shooting in Swedish history.”
The 35-year-old shooter, armed with an automatic weapon, opened fire before taking his own life. Authorities have not found links to terrorism, and the motive remains unclear. Several people were injured, with one in critical condition.
