A recent NBC News poll provides new insights into Generation Z’s perspectives on the economy and gender roles, highlighting both generational and gender divides.

💰 Economic Outlook
The poll shows that 69% of Gen Z disapprove of President Trump’s economic management. However, when it comes to personal finances, 42% of young men report feeling financially secure, compared to 38% of young women, indicating a noticeable gender gap in economic confidence.

⚖️ Views on Gender Roles
The survey also revealed contrasting views on traditional gender roles. Around 41% of Gen Z men believe the U.S. would benefit if more women embraced traditional roles, while only 26% of women share this view. Additionally, a global study from King’s College London found that 60% of Gen Z men feel pressured to support gender equality, compared to 38% of Gen Z women. Furthermore, 57% of young men feel that efforts to promote women’s equality have gone too far, compared to 36% of young women.

These findings underscore the evolving but divided perspectives within Generation Z on key social and economic issues.
