Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel will resume military operations in Gaza if Hamas fails to release hostages by noon on Saturday. This announcement follows Hamas’s suspension of hostage releases, citing alleged Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. Netanyahu stressed that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are ready to intensify their operations if the deadline is not met.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump echoed Netanyahu’s ultimatum, warning Hamas of severe consequences if the hostages remain captive. Trump also proposed relocating Gaza’s population to neighboring countries, a controversial suggestion rejected by Arab nations, sparking fears of potential ethnic cleansing.

In response, Hamas reaffirmed its commitment to the ceasefire but blamed Israel for any delays or complications. The situation remains tense as both sides accuse each other of undermining the fragile truce, raising fears of renewed conflict in the region.
