Neil Cavuto, a veteran anchor at Fox News, has officially signed off after 28 years with the network. Joining in 1996 at its inception, he became a prominent figure through shows like Your World with Neil Cavuto and Cavuto: Coast to Coast on Fox Business. During his final broadcast on December 19, 2024, Cavuto expressed deep gratitude, stating he was “very lucky to do what I love,” despite facing significant health challenges.

Throughout his career, Cavuto was known for balanced reporting and his willingness to critique both sides of the political spectrum. He declined a contract extension with Fox News to explore new opportunities in journalism. Despite enduring health struggles, including multiple sclerosis, heart surgery, and a bout with COVID-19, Cavuto remained committed to his work.

Fox News has yet to announce a permanent replacement, with rotating hosts filling his time slot temporarily. Cavuto’s departure marks the end of an era, leaving behind a legacy that has significantly shaped business journalism over the past three decades.
