Las Vegas police have arrested 36-year-old Paul Hyon Kim for allegedly firebombing a Tesla service center on March 18. Authorities say Kim used Molotov cocktails to ignite multiple Tesla vehicles and spray-painted the word “RESIST” on the building’s doors. He faces charges including arson, possession of an explosive device, and firing a weapon into a vehicle.
Investigators believe Kim acted alone but are probing potential connections to other recent attacks on Tesla facilities across the country. The FBI is also involved, considering whether the attack had “hallmarks of terrorism.”
The arrest comes amid a series of similar incidents targeting Tesla properties, coinciding with CEO Elon Musk’s close ties to President Trump’s administration. Both Musk and Trump have condemned the attacks as acts of domestic terrorism.
