Massive Strikes Pound Tehran After Trump Vows to Hit Iran ‘Very Hard’

A new wave of powerful airstrikes lit up the night sky over Tehran, marking one of the heaviest bombardments since the war between Iran, Israel, and the United States escalated. The attacks came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Iran would be “hit very hard” in response to ongoing regional tensions.

Residents across Tehran reported hearing multiple explosions as pillars of fire and thick smoke rose above several districts. Footage shared online showed bright flashes lighting up the skyline while emergency services rushed to affected areas. According to international reports, some of the strikes targeted infrastructure linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a powerful Iranian military organization.

Trump Issues Stark Warning

The escalation followed a strongly worded message from Trump on his Truth Social platform. The U.S. president warned that Iran could face devastating consequences if hostilities continued.

“Today Iran will be hit very hard,” Trump wrote, adding that additional targets—including areas not previously considered—were under review for potential military action.

Trump also claimed the ongoing U.S. and Israeli campaign had already inflicted severe damage on Iran’s military infrastructure, arguing that the pressure was forcing Tehran into a defensive position.

Israel Expands Military Operations

At the same time, Israeli officials signaled that the military campaign against Iran could intensify further. Israeli leaders warned that the next phase of operations may include unexpected strikes and broader strategic targets.

Reports indicated that Israeli fighter jets carried out attacks on facilities connected to fuel supplies and military logistics in Tehran, which authorities said were used to support Iranian military operations.

The strikes reportedly triggered fires at several sites, including an oil storage facility near the capital, sending flames and smoke high into the night sky.

War Shows No Signs of Slowing

The latest attacks come as the Middle East conflict enters a dangerous new phase, with missile exchanges, drone attacks, and cross-border strikes spreading across the region. Analysts warn the escalating confrontation could draw more countries into the conflict and further destabilize global energy markets.

Iranian leaders have rejected calls from Washington to surrender or scale back their military actions. Officials in Tehran insist that Iran will continue defending itself against what it describes as aggression from the United States and Israel.

Meanwhile, warnings from Iranian officials suggest retaliation may continue if strikes on Iranian territory persist.

Growing Global Concern

As explosions continue to shake Tehran, international observers fear the conflict could spiral into a broader regional war. Diplomats and world leaders are urging restraint, but the ongoing exchange of attacks suggests tensions remain at their highest level in years.

For now, Tehran remains on high alert as residents brace for the possibility of further airstrikes while the confrontation between Iran and its adversaries intensifies.
