Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced that he held a “very substantive and constructive” phone call with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff, signaling renewed momentum in diplomatic efforts to shape a potential peace framework for Ukraine. The conversation marks one of the most significant recent contacts between Kyiv and Washington as both sides explore mechanisms to stabilize the conflict, strengthen security cooperation and design a roadmap toward lasting peace.
